Port Charlotte Scottish Barley is made from 100% Scottish-grown barley, peated to 40ppm which is then trickle distilled and combined with pure Islay spring water prior to bottling. An elegant, floral and peaty whisky.

The Glenlivet 12 Years old is the Smooth and Welcoming one. It is an echo of George Smith’s original classic with a note of pineapple. The delicate and complex character of The Glenlivet 12 Year Olds derives from the height and width of stills at The Glenlivet Distillery. Aged in a variety of cask types, including American oak for an amount of time, this whisky acquires a vanilla note and smoothness. While we are famous for pushing the boundaries of distilling, coopering and maturation we know a classic spirit when we make one. This drama has been designed by Jim McEwan to showcase the classic, floral and elegant Bruichladdich style; matured purely in Ameican Oak Bourbon Casks. A Kate Moss rather than a Madonna, An Audrey Hepburn rather than a Marylin Monroe, a natureal elegance that is beyond fad and fashion - truly a classic Bruichladdich!

"As deep and mysterious as the loch that gives it its name” High in the hills above Ardbeg is the brooding, mysterious Loch Uigeadail (pronounced ‘Oog-a-dal’). This is the loch that supplies Ardbeg’s peat-laden water supply, and gives its name to this widely acclaimed expression. This is a special vatting of different styles of Ardbeg, marrying together its traditional deep, smoky notes the luscious, sweet, raisiny tones of old ex-Sherry casks. Ardbeg Uigeadail is non chill-filtered at high strength which retains maximum flavour and gives more body and added depth – as good as straight from the cask. ​54.2% ALC/VOL ​Non chill-filtered.

"The epitome of ‘the untamed spirit of Islay" Ardbeg tells the legend of Corryvreckan, but not as you have heard it before. We begin with Breacan, the Viking prince who fell in love with the daughter with an Islay princess and was challenged to prove his devotion by surviving three nights in the whirlpool. We follow the brave suitor into the perilous maelstrom, where one by one the three ropes which he carried to anchor his vessel were pulled asunder and thus, says the legend, Breacan perished beneath the whirlpool that now bears his name: Corryvreckan. Powerful and dangerous… A terrifying spectacle… A wild, untamed spirit… 57.1% ALC/VOL  Non chill-fitered. 

Ardbeg is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex whisky of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the malt, the natural sweetness of which subtly intrudes and produces perfect balance. The core expression of the Ardbeg portfolio is Ardbeg Ten Years Old. Launched in 2000, it was an instant hit with connoisseurs and peat-aficionados the world over and has retained its place at the top table ever since. “Explosive, exuberant and tumultuous” 46% ALC/VOL ​Non chill-filtered TASTING NOTES Colour Light gold Aroma A burst of intense smoky fruit escapes into the atmosphere – peat infused with zesty lemon and lime, wrapped in waxy dark chocolate. Bold menthol and black pepper slice through the sweet smoke followed by tarry ropes and graphite. As you dip your nose in further, savour the aroma of smoked fish and crispy bacon alongside green bell peppers, baked pineapple and pear juice. Add water and breathe in the vortex of aromas rising from the glass. An oceanic minerality brings a breath of cool, briny seaspray on chalky cliffs. Waxed lemon and lime follows with coal tar soap, beeswax and herby pine woodlands. ​Toasted vanilla and sizzling cinnamon simmer in the background with warm hazelnut and almond toffee. Taste An explosion of crackling peat sets off millions of flavour explosions on the tongue: peat effervesces with tangy lemon and lime juice, black pepper pops with sizzling cinnamon-spiced toffee. This is followed by a wave of brine infused with smooth buttermilk, ripe bananas and currants. Smoke gradually wells up on the palate bringing a mouthful of warm creamy cappuccino and toasted marshmallows. As the taste lengthens and deepens, dry espresso, liquorice root and tarry smoke develop coating the palate with chewy peat oils. Finish The finish goes on and on – long and smoky with tarry espresso, aniseed, toasted almonds and traces of soft barley and fresh pear. AWARDS Jim Murray World Whisky of the Year - 2008  

Released in 2004, this bottling was aged for around five years before being finished in a quarter cask for several months, the size of the cask is quite small, thus does not require such a long maturation. This remains a truly great achievement from Laphroaig

The 12 year-old expression is a fine example of how the distinctively crisp, citrus character of Aberlour’s raw spirit is deftly softened by double cask maturation. Traditional oak and seasoned Sherry butts are both used to great effect, as the mellowed spirits within are combined to deliver a subtly balanced flavour.
