The Botanist is a gin of layered complexity. A progressive exploration of the botanical heritage of the isle of Islay. Nine classic gin botanicals are augmentede by 22 local herbs and flowers foraged responsibly and by hand from the hills, shores and bogs od this fertile Hebridean island by our own team of botanical scientists. THE EMBODIMENT OF BRAVERY In 1263, Colin of Kintail, Chief of the Clan Mackenzie, took a bold decision to stand up and be counted, and felled a charging stag which attacked King Alexander III of Scotland. In return for saving his life, the grateful King gifted the 12-pointed Royal Stag emblem to the Mackenzie Clan as a reward. When descendants of the Mackenzie Clan took over the ownership of The Dalmore distillery in 1867, they continued to honour this brave act and proudly put the 12-pointed Royal Stag on the bottle. To this day, the Stag still adorns each and every bottle of The Dalmore. To celebrate the pioneering and innovative values of the Mackenzie Clan, our Master Distiller has painstakingly created the only single malt in the world to unite a unique six cask finish for one outstanding achievement. Spirits matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry butts, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques are combined in perfect harmony to create a uniquely complex, yet smooth single malt. This is the embodiment of brave creativity and a lifetime’s experience.

Scotland’s favourite whisky is a blend crafted from the finest malt whiskies, such as The Macallan and Highland Park, married with exceptional grain whiskies, for the smoothest possible taste.

Volare Amaretto is a delicious liqueur to be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or mixed in cocktails. Volare Amaretto is obtained from the natural extract of pressed ripe almonds, which give this Italian liqueur its typical nutty character.. Volare Apricot Brandy is a classic liqueur with a full and fruity taste typical of ripe apricots, which is combined with the interesting note of brandy and hints of almond. This liqueur is obtained through a specific processing of apricots: the fruit, rigorously Italian, is macerated in alcohol together with the stone (which gives the light almond aroma). Volare Blue Curaçao is the best known liqueur in the world of cocktails. It is obtained by drying the peels of Laraha oranges, a type of bitter orange that grows on the island of Curaçao in the Caribbean Sea. Its intense citrus aroma, pleasant and delicate flavour and characteristic deep blue colour make it a must-have liqueur for the preparation of cocktails and long drinks. It is obtained by the infusion and distillation of dried orange peels, which allows the essential oils first to concentrate and then to release. Volare Butterscotch is a delicious liqueur which taste greatly combine butter, vanilla and hazelnut cream harmoniously blended to create a unique and characteristic liqueur with a comforting flavour of toffee. Volare Brown Cacao is a delicious liqueur obtained from the infusion of roasted cocoa beans. The colour is dark brown, and the taste is typical of cocoa: delicate, aromatic and sweet. Volare Cherry Brandy is a delicious liqueur obtained from the infusion and distillation of Italian cherries. The addition of the stone gives this liqueur a particular hint of almond that goes very well with the typical cherry taste. Colour: deep red Aroma: Intense, full. Volare Elderflower is a delicious Italian liqueur characterized by sweet and aromatic notes. It is obtained by macerating the delicate flowers in alcohol, following a careful process in the distillery to capture all the typical aromatic notes of the elderflower. Colour: Clear light green. Aroma: Delicate and fragrant. Taste: Fresh and thirst-quenching. ABV: 18% Capacity: 70cl Sugar: 15%
