An evolution of The Dalmore house style, this 18 year old expression takes on bolder notes becoming a robust and formidable whisky. The Dalmore 18 showcases the result of extended maturation and the influence of the wood. Matured initially for 14 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the spirit is then transferred to 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts for a further four years. These sherry butts from the world renowned sherry house Gonzalez Byass are selected exclusively for The Dalmore.

The story Under the watchful eye of our Master Distiller, the liquid is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes. The whisky is then transferred to Gonzalez Byass casks which have held 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry. This additional enhancement period allows true flavour enrichment as the liquid changes profile in the cask and really allows our potential to shine through. A multifaceted whisky with a higher strength at 43.8% exposes real rarities in flavour. This is a true coming of age whisky.   Tasting notes Aroma: Seville oranges, bitter chocolate, Columbian coffee and vanilla. Palate: Sweet liquorice stick, Black Forest fruits, roasted walnuts and thick marzipan. Finish: Peaches, ginseng, pear tarte tatin and Sanguinello blood oranges.

ONE OF A KIND WHISKY FOR CIGAR LOVERS This specially crafted whisky has been expertly made to be the perfect accompaniment to a fine cigar. Matured initially in American white oak exbourbon casks and 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts, it is then finessed in premier cru Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques.

AVB 46%  Unveiled in mid-2015, GlenDronach's The Hielan' is a rather handsome entry level 8 year old single malt from the Highland distillery's range, matured and married in bourbon and Sherry casks. Delightfully buttery with a good helping of chewy raisin and almond notes at its core, joined by touches of citrus and spice.

ABV 46%  GlenDronach have introduced their first ever peated expression to their range! This expression was initially matured in bourbon casks before being transferred over to Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, so it maintains some of the classic GlenDronach sherried "oomph", but with rich, smoky elements at its core. Nose: Wafts of juicy (and maybe even a little tropical) fruit and vanilla cream mingle with plumes of charred oak. Palate: Cinnamon and more wood-smoke lead to runny honey and dried raisin further on. Finish: Golden barley shines through here.  

The Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask is the distillery’s first new release with an age statement in three years, bucking the trend of non-age statement Scotch whiskies that has grown over the past few years. Filling the gap between the Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak and Fine Oak from years ago, this new release is the best of both both worlds, matured in both American and European oak casks that were previously used to age sherry. The Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask has a festive aroma of fruitcake and match heads — a bit lighter on the nose than its Sherry Oak sibling. A palate of raisins, brazil nuts, and honey follows, leading to a citrusy floral finish.

The Macallan Sherry Oak expressions are characterized by their rich color and hints of dried fruit and spice, a result of being exclusively aged in 100% sherry-seasoned oak casks. Exclusively aged for a minimum of 12 years in sherry-seasoned oak casks, this marque exudes a beautiful, rich gold hue and an exquisite flavorful finish. The ideal dram for cocktail hour, after-dinner or even to be paired with a meal, each Sherry Oak expression is an iconic, timeless single malt experience.

Another stellar addition to the Double Cask range from Macallan, it's a 15 Year Old expression! The single malt spent its years in a combination of American and European oak, both of which were seasoned with Oloroso sherry. What did you expect from Macallan? A wonderful balance of creamy sweetness and fiery spice to be found in this one.

A crisp and dry fino sherry from Gonzalez Byass. This is made using Palomino grapes and the wine is aged for around 5 years. Best served chilled.
