The Jura distillery was first founded in 1810, but like so many Scotch distilleries, saw its own share of bad luck. After falling into disrepair and being dismantled in 1901, the distillery was rebuilt and reopened in 1963 and has been brewing ever since. Released at the end of 2011, the Jura Elixir has been aged for 12 years before bottling – a bit longer then Jura’s 10 year aged line, but quite a bit less than their 21 year or 30 year offerings. Finished in, “a mix of American white oak and sherry casks,” they advertise the flavor on the bottle as “fruity and spicy.”     **Red Bull Cocktail Recipe** 1) Fill the glass with ice 2) Combine the Jura about 30-40ml and Red Bull, soda water together 3) Squeeze a lemon and dunk in it 4) Stir and enjoy!

Laphroaig QA Cask 1l Bottling Note A litre bottling of Laphroaig's QA Cask single malt Scotch whisky, which is initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels before ensuring a finishing period in charred American white oak casks. With this finishing period paired with Laphroaig's classically intense flavour profile, you might be expecting a massively in-your-face dram, but the result is very well-balanced between coastal smoke and sweet, chewy vanilla notes.

Lillet, classed as an aromatised wine within EU law, is a French wine-based aperitif from Podensac. It is a blend of 85% Bordeaux region wines (Semillon for the Blanc and for the Rosé, Merlot for the Rouge) and 15% macerated liqueurs, mostly citrus liqueurs (peels of sweet oranges from Spain and Morocco and peels of bitter green oranges from Haiti). The mix is then stirred in oak vats until blended. During the aging process, Lillet is handled as a Bordeaux wine (undergoing fining, racking, filtering etc.).

Lillet is a blend of rigorously selected wines and fruit liqueurs, aged in oak vats for around 12 months, during which it is given the same care as the Grands Crus (great wines) of Bordeaux. Lillet Blanc has a golden colour with candied orange, honey, pine resin, lime and fresh mint aromas.Full and rich on the palate with a lovely, long aftertaste. Always serve well chilled in a Bordeaux wine glass... zest with a slice of orange or lime. Perfect with snacks and desserts!
